페루인들이 신성시하며 그들의 삶과 종교적인 상징성을 지닌 콘돌.

200년전 스페인의 폭정에 분노하여 페루인(원주민)의 대규모 반란을 주동하다 죽은 콘도르칸키의 이야기를

D.A.Robles 가 작곡한 오페레타로 사이먼과 가펑클이 노래한 이 곡은 세계에서 좋은 음악속에 빠지지 않고 들어가 있음.
